IWI SUPPORTED PROJECTS
The Indigenous Watersheds Initiative is funding 49 Indigenous-led projects dedicated to the stewardship and restoration of local watersheds in ‘British Columbia’. The projects receiving funding are found in communities across the province, spanning the Mackenzie, Fraser, Columbia, North Coast, South Coast, Nass, Skeena, Stikine, Taku, and Yukon watershed basins.
IWI projects encompass a wide range of focus areas and themes, including:

Watershed Restoration and Protection
Watershed Monitoring and Assessment.
