This project is strengthening habitat resilience and monitoring the freshwater habitat across the Upper Fraser watershed through the creation and implementation of a new monitoring program. The Endako Weir Effectiveness Monitoring Program will provide critical information to allow the Upper Fraser Fisheries Alliance, partnering Nations, and regulators to ensure that weir infrastructure is operating as intended, including providing downstream habitat benefits; and that no unintended consequences to upstream lake health arise from the weir.
